It very useful for update MediaNav navigations which seams are used in various models of cars as Renault, Dacia, Opel, Mahindra, Volvo, etc. It contains: - Total Commander. Start/Stop GPS for allow editing files. Video player (AVI format 800x400 is the best but plays many other formats) - Notepad. This manipulation is a hack, it is not official, you can not get help from Renault if it goes wrong. Moreover on the R-Link 1, the USB socket does not deliver enough power, it can cause bugs. Menaco is add-on software program for your MediaNAV and MediaNAV Evolution. The software is a kind of ‘jailbreak‘ or ‘hack’ for your system. It opens up some functionalities that are otherwise locked and by doing so, allows you to install other programs. Of course it’s 100% legal and with over 15.000 users on Kia, Hyundai, Renault and Dacia we can assure you it’s been very thoroughly tested.
Almost all Dacia models from 2012 are supported. Check below how to make sure yours is too!
The functionalities are endless, because it allows you to install any compatible app on your device. We’ve pre-installed some of them. So, what can you do with Menaco?
Globally, almost all Dacia Navigation hardware can be divided into two types: MediaNAV and MediaNAV Evolution. You can check the type of your unit by going to System > Configuration > Version.
MediaNAV: 2012-2017 models the number contains three digits and first digit is 2, 3 or 4: 2.0.9 | 4.0.2 | 4.0.3 | 4.0.5 | 4.0.6
MediaNAV Evolution: 2014-2017 models the number contains three digits starting with 5, 6 or 7: 5.1.3 | 5.2.7 | 5.2.8 | 6.0.2 | 6.0.3 | 6.0.4 | 7.0.5
R-Link: R-Link is not yet supported and development has been put on hold, so Menaco can focus on releasing more and more functionalities for MediaNAV and Media NAV evolution in the coming months.
All green versions above will work without problems on your Dacia System!
